About This Project
For this complete kitchen remodel in a Downingtown home, Craftsworth Construction pulled every trick out of the hat for our residential design and construction team to execute! The original kitchen was one-third the size, with dated colonial cabinets, and an adjoining large dining room.
Our design team spent nearly a year exploring every option of how to expand the homeowner's space to accommodate their needs, with an awareness of budget as well, to make sure they were thrilled with the final result. Working with our engineer and the township, a 1,000 pound steel beam was installed flush into the ceiling while temporarily supporting the second floor utilizing new steel columns down to the foundation.
With the structural alteration complete, our residential construction team installed all new LVP flooring, solid wood shaker white/blue cabinetry, crown moldings, custom milled floating shelves, a pot filler at the range, custom milled hood wrap, under cabinet lighting, sliding barn pantry doors and shelving, and beautiful quartz countertops!
